This taught him the value of doing a good job as word of mouth was key in that business and local community. This is the ethos he has kept, over his working life. Moving to south west London to further career opportunities and challenge electrical knowledge, with ever changing product an innovation. He worked for a couple of years for himself, enjoying the work and building client base.
Whilst Subcontracting to a large southwest London building/refurbishment and maintenance company. The chance to start a new electrical department was offered within this company. Then spent over 5 years building and managing teams of electricians. Working in very high end properties and developments. This gave him the full knowledge and experience of the London life he had wanted, enabling working relationships with lighting designers, architects, developers and management companies.
With that time served, he found himself missing the full hands on part of the job so made the decision to get back to running his own company. he has continued to work in the same standard of installations and catchment areas. Finding more and more solutions and innovation for the electrical industry in the areas of work. During the 5-year management process he also gained a project management skill set. Which have already been implemented for project managing refurbishments. Enjoying the structure needed for this co-ordination, hitting deadlines and handing back the keys is a nice feeling.
